Yes it was so forced most people are just okay with it now because it's just common knowledge but in the first 2 movies there's obviously a love triangle thing going on with Leia kisses Luke multiple times. It seems like they didn't want to worry about that in Rotj so She just became lukes sister

Most of this is bc they fit like 5 hours worth of story into 2 hours which is kinda annoying

Dec 20, 2019I went into the movie with my bar set incredibly low, but I left the theater thinking this was the best Star Wars since the OT. Some of the best duels were in this movie, kylo and Rey's story arcs made more sense now and the fan service was done very well. Only complaint was killing ben and Finn's only dialogue being screaming
