the 40 minutes of ads destroyed my momentum for the movie i was fighting myself not trying to fall asleep

ended up sleeping for 20 minutes and waking up to kylo ren getting shanked

As much as a disliked tlj this scene was absolutely god tier

I definitely agree with this

JJ did amazing with the first film

Rian had some bright spots but ultimately f***ed it up in the second film

JJ spent the entirety of the third film trying to undo what Rian did, the good and bad parts

Like many other people itt have said, this felt like a war between the directors and that's really disappointing

Darth Maul fight scene is all flash, no substance
