Recently I’ve heard some people say this is their least favorite song off 808’s and that’s kinda of a wild take to me. It’s always felt like the little bit of light sinking in that keeps the whole record afloat. It’s my favorite to be honest. Sounds like a New Order song filtered through the grandiosity of Disney renaissance magic while still maintaining Kanye’s vulnerability and emotion. When the song erupts into the repeated “okay okay”s it always manages to make me smile.
