he just feels entirely too reminiscent of the casting logic that went into choosing joel kinnaman. im sure this will be~look more readily competent than the 2014 version, but he doesnt give me anything that feels excitingly surprising nor the 'powerless everyday avg rookie cop who got into something way over his head' vibe of '87 peter weller. will be intresting seeing him attempt the robotic pathos of losing family+getting your body signed off to a defense contractor tho.
