30fps doesn’t bother me tbh. And being that online will probably be staggered and not come out til early 2027 it gives me time to save for a pro or series x.

I don’t get it lol. I’m predominantly a console player so I’m used to it but my pc buddies are absolutely appalled.

Thats why. When your eye balls become acussomted to high frame rates, you can "see" 30fps a lot more.

I can notice the difference too. I have a 4070 and an i9. It’s just for a story game it doesn’t hinder my experience much at all. For a fps or online games in general yes 60 should be the minimum.

Base PS5 not capable of handling multiple NPCs with hella detail, AI, voice lines, explosions etc all at 60fps at an acceptable visual fidelity. It's not happening, the Pro might not even be 60 FPS

GTA VI at 60 FPS on base PS5 is like you wipe your butthole and your nose with the same napkin - the s*** snot happening

It gives no cometitive advantage, but moment to moment, 30 just does not look good anymore.

Either way I am waiting for that reason alone

The performance graphic snobs act like we didn’t play San Andreas, vice city , iv and even v with exponentially less power. We are there for the gameplay . Ideally just locked 30

My current guess is all locked 30 and pro series x look better with pro looking best

Locking pro to 40 isn’t going to make a major difference and the cpu of the pro cpu has a boost mode that allows a 10% difference so if ps5 is 30 then pro 33-40 absolute max
