I love physical media, but let’s be honest, we’ve been heading towards digital-only gaming for a while now.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS6 is just sold as a digital console, and people will have to make a seperate purchase to buy a disc drive as an add-on

PS5 Pro is already like that.

Probably just gonna wait til preload week to preorder.

Legit no point whatsoever to do it now.

Hell, if I can get a physical at work I can get it for like 12 dollars cheaper.

Yup. But I think there’s a chance Sony won’t even release PS6 games as physical media. Every PS6 game will just be digital, and the only reason to buy a disc drive attachment will be if you want to play physical PS5 games on your PS6

Rockstar dropping their biggest game for digital only is definitely an indicator for where the gaming industry is headed, and they might already be aware that the PS6 is digital only

This physical vs digital convo would have more value if the physical copies that actually had the game on there. Like 95% of them that I’ve owned are just access keys basically to download the actual full game file from the console store

Games have been removed from store before and delisted and you still have it in your library able to redownload. I have games from 2005 Wii e shop still in my digital library.

Anybody knows that Gran Turismo looks more realistic. Lighting is everything

GT looks better, but it is as expected. And the fact that GTA6 is being compared to a dedicated racing game is a compliment for rockstar.

i doubt ps6 will even have the disc add on

GTA VI looks better for me tbh

I think which looks better depends on the screenshot, but generally, Gran Turismo is a car game, GTA is an everything game, the cars are hugely important, but there's so much more detail to pack into GTA with environments and NPCs
