Rollout a mess but I am just glad I opted on getting a pc and waiting vs rushing to get a console for this
Don’t worry once it drops you’ll get blitzed by the hype and buy it on console

No shot you’re going to wait 1-2yrs for the greatest and most anticipated video game of all time
NatetheHate thinks we’ll likely get something in August, but he’s not quite sure when exactly.

This as in July??? Or August
I feel like if Trailer 3 isn’t also a gameplay trailer then we might not even get one, or if we do then that s*** ain’t coming til October, a few weeks before launch.
I have doubts about there even being previews at this point.

I'm predicting a trailer in August, then a gameplay trailer in Sept
Think they'll still do the previews for critics around Sept-Oct, but Rockstar also don't seem as confident this time as they did with V/RDR2

I don’t know why people assume Rockstar isn’t confident in the game versus them just being extra sensitive about what they release given how this is the most anticipated piece of media ever.
Especially following the leaks from a few years ago, the incentives potential leakers would have to spoil things is astronomical so it makes sense that they’d batten down the hatches and be very selective in revealing more and more of the game.
Doesn’t help that AI produced footage of the game is becoming its own little industry at this point as well. By limiting what’s shown they’ve essentially monopolized what is considered official versus what’s complete fabricated bullshit.

I'm just saying that based on the marketing this time around. They've been dropping some of the most successful entertainment products ever since SA. IV was the fastest selling entertainment product ever, they still had more V trailers and marketing by this point before its release
And if they're afraid of leaks, I'd say getting a trailer or information about the game out there is the best way to combat that. What can people leak if the info is already out there, released by Rockstar themselves on their terms? Keeping s*** under wraps is what incentivizes these hackers/leakers to target them
I've been saying in here Rockstar don't need to market at all like a month ago already, I get that. But it's weird that they're being THIS quiet. Making the game available for preorder and still not showing anything is pretty wild
I also think Rockstar feels like this game is make or break for the franchise. Don't have some of the leading voices who have created the franchise for the past 20+ years. They've been getting s*** for repetitive and restrictive missions in IV, V and RDR games. Facing pressure to have a better plot than V. Probably adapting some of the realistic features from RDR2 (carry weapons in car trunk, characters have hunger bars) and they're nervous about how people are going to react
Not saying Rockstar are going to drop something Cyberpunk bad but I think they are lowkey stressed about how this game will be received

Just because you are hyped for a game doesnt make it the greatest of all time. You are talking to someone who didnt love V and Red Dead Redemption 2. I am a grown adult I can wait for something
Half right
People let the hype get to their head a bit so suddenly its "YOU WILL BUY A 900$ CONSOLE AND PAY FOR ONLINE" no I wont lol I have other priorities right now
