CrimsonArkWonder if this is gonna go the way of RDR2 where it drops, people go nuts, a few months later people are hating on it for its weight and deliberate feel/mechanics, then a year or two later people go back to calling it one of the GOATs.
I do think the primary RDR2 influence will be that everything will feel more deliberate and have greater weight to it, but the setting alone is gonna lead to a much faster pace and different feel.
But people will still be reactionary as hell, annoyingly so because they’ll refuse to meet the game on its own terms.

i think the clunkiness of RDR2 made sense in context to the aorld it was in.
i do hope that GTA6 has somewhat of a learning curve to it. I like a game that takes adjustment to mechanics

Yea all things aside, I really just hope they finally update their mission design. Even red dead 2 felt pretty on rails for a game with so much freedom and such a lively world.

Honestly, they need to make it where you can cheese it and end the mission earlier/instantly get the target
GTA Online actually improved on it since 2019, if you have a car chase and you "accidentally" f*** up, it's like "aight, well here's an alternative path"

RDR2 had this function too where you could skip to the next checkpoint if you were having a hard time with it. I think it's pretty neat. The git gud warriors won't like it tho
