Red Dead never going to have a crazy mission with jet packs or anything out of the sorts
Man, this site not good for my health because I feel like you say some s*** that's obviously true and niggas react like you're crazy/wilfully misconstrue your point like this
Nigga said jetpack when the s*** is set in 1900
What game would you say RDR is closest to in terms of structure/gameplay loop? It's obviously GTA, that's a factual answer
GTA 5 and 6 maps to scale with eachother (from mapping project, not the new map but scale is the same)

BREAKING:
GTA VI will get the Everything Jump emote if you pre-order the Ultimate Edition.
Rockstar in 2023: “Lighting’s done. Animations are done. Physics are done. Game runs at a solid 1440p/30fps. We just need to fix some clipping and add a few UI elements.”
“Cool, how long?”
“Three years.”

see the thing is I dont like using cheat codes on a console game. But on PC would feel find modifying. cheat codes disqualify from achievements and slippery slope

those mappers are speculating the sebring-like race track and there aren't or maybe one lol

I am saying at its core that Red Dead is a very less goofy gamey game than GTA. its focus is more on being a simulator of western than a game where anything can happen. I fully understand what you are saying but you calling elements bad design when its the design to immerse people is the point I am getting at

you really want to literally stop your car at a gas station get out buy and pump gas?
I hope I’m able to pay my taxes in gta 6

yeah i did it in mafia with no problem
we got games out that have you simulating economies and creating complex farm systems, that minute degree of immersion doesn't phase me in the slightest lol

I am asking a genuine question about levels of realism to another user on here
When you forget to poop before a mission and Lucia s***s herself cause you didn’t pay attention to the poop meter 😳

We've been discussing this since like 24h ago and nobody has been able to tell me how weapons unequipping automatically, sluggish movement or the long looting animations increases immersion. RDR2 is flawed because Rockstar chose immersion/realism over player convenience, that's something I'm never going to agree with and call good game design

There are certain elements sure I think it can add to game and immersion and others where i am personally mixed on. If it can add to the game sure. If a mission where you have to drive a long distance manage gas and car health sure. Depends how it is executed. Its not like you will likely have to get out of the car and decide unleaded or premium. Will affect how far you can drive in a chase. maybe it will be used well only time will tell truly.
