I think the oil meter is just the overall car engine health hopefully. Getting an oil change is tooo much

Engine is more like you wont be able to drive the same car all game even if you keep it in perfect condition

If the gas system is still in you can absolutely siphon gas from other cars then, and upgrade capacity (alongside the engine).

Feels like such a reactionary take to be upset about too, if anything this will make people actually value the cars they have and feel compelled to take care of them.
