For sure. And even though we look at Rockstar's humor as goofy and over the top I still feel like they know how to write a compelling emotional story.
I feel with the world in such a state of disarray that Rockstar has an opportunity to use GTA to actually write a really compelling story that could actually touch people with all the madness going on in the world today.
We'll see what they do with it. Gonna be a massive moment in pop culture
I don't have crazy faith in them to create a good "modern" story rn but I have plenty of room to be surprised. GTA V has aged very well imo, I don't think it's as goofy as I once did

Just feel like red dead lends itself to that because of the time period/pop cultural references that they choose to refer to. Like I said, I have room to be surprised

Jason's slapping animation lends more credence to Rockstar's statement regarding trailer 2:
Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes.
This shot was certainly gameplay, but with a cinematic camera angle.
