It is Atlantic. Working directly with Atlantic vs what they have done in the past I am mixed on. The updated soundtrack over time may hit though. Just these songs released so far I do not know. Not terrible just underwhelming

Hearing it in game or paired with a mission wont change the sounds of the song or lyrics for me lol

Cardi song is mid but I can see what they were going for
Not to mention that Manni is from New York and I remember her posting a Cardi song on her ig story, she's also Dominican

It's fine. Sounds like a song you'd hear in a vice city club while it's drowned by crowd noises and reverb

It's not bad, sounds exactly how I'd expect a single from her to sound
The lyrics just surprised me considering it's on here

I haven't listened to any of the companion album singles
Do any of them mention vice city or leonida or any gta universe stuff?

I always found it a funny that one continuity/canon/immersion breaking thing that we all accept and rockstar can’t ever fix is that the songs on the radio mention places that don’t exist in the game. Miami songs in this, songs mentioning LA, Compton and California in San Andreas. For as detailed and immersive as these games get, that’ll always be in them.

So I assumed this companion album would’ve partly been a cool work around to get real artists mentioning gta universe places

I mean we've been had artists shouting out places in Los Santos and Liberty City already. As for the real locations nonexistent in the GTA universe, I never actually thought about it or considered it immersion breaking because it's like with kayfabe in wrestling. We know what the worlds are based on so that rule remains unspoken and we're all in on the dissonance.

Man I need a CB song on the soundtrack like a Go Crazy or Under the Influence
