ALPHABEARRockstar dropped the biggest ball by not doing it in Toronto or Atlanta though.
Imagine getting a side-mission by Baka or Migos, or blasting back for NAV or Gunna at a club shootout. Imagine ya love interest being Chromaz or Rubi Rose. Getting her taken away by the Weeknd or Young Thug (to fuel the revenge arc of the story, of course). The final boss being Drake or Guwop.

Nah it was great that they showed all that. Part of me likes the marketing cus it keeps so much of the game a surprise but part of me can’t help but think “half this s*** leaked. Rockstar please show me something that I haven’t seen before”
its an 80 hour game that we waited 13 years for that was announced 3-4 years ago. I am kind of confused on how people think seeing gameplay of what the previews talk about in magazines or in video previews from when they visited the offices can some how ruin the first playthrough
When San Andreas, IV, V launched we saw and knew the mechanics saw examples of them. Press had hands on and there was still so much to discover within the game
showing direct story missions where I am going to play said missions is spoiling that moment for the first time more than showing random gameplay of the mechanics and a day in the life

I feel like you cant have a country station then say some of her greatest songs arent country enough and can only have chemtrails over the country club on there.
she has so many songs that are so fitting of hearing on a mission man especially with a romantic couple

Those murals/billboards are going to come down eventually, most people not buying merch or going out of their way to listen to a GTA VI album so what are people really going to look back at fondly about the marketing for VI? Just feels like they're focusing on other products more than the game itself this time

surprise dropping a launch trailer that they did feels so random random
still no hands on previews. word of reviews before game launches. The reviews gameplay and words will be the entire marketing and will probably drop right around preload time or right after. With the game a month away I would guess reviewers they trust get codes in the next week or two max. Game goes gold by then so like November 1st or 8th. But they dont really need to announce when its Gold unless they are ready to drop more gameplay or previews. Launch Trailer is what you would normally save for when the game went gold at least
