I don’t want to see any more clips or learn new small details.
We’re so close breh like i want to discover some of this stuff in game lol
Devs who worked on this game for a decade are still discovering stuff. We'll be eating till the forseeable future
Good thing about this is that it’ll limit the numbers of spoilers that can spread once the game drops in New Zealand.
Not really cause New Zealand spoilers will be story . A lot of what’s being talked about in previews would rather see in gameplay they show or see when I play it through discovery
They gave shirrako a code . Unless they copyright strike spoilers in first week a lot is getting spoiled for us story wise
A lot of weather systems and animals what do I gain from knowing vs seeing and believing for myself
Add in a lot of previews are repeating the same exact info we’ve known for months
https://twitter.com/charlieintel/status/2115826316742426730Slow news day fasho but a lot of casual people might not know a lot of the stuff
we got TES 6 title before gta 6

powerful...

A lot of casual people won’t read previews but will watch a video is exactly my point lol
i honestly can't imagine complaining about marketing for GTA VI
At first I thought it was a little ass backwards to put out the netflix preview and then put out the magazine interviews and YouTuber videos etc after.

https://twitter.com/Wario64/status/2115840979790139427If they want to sell hardware it needs to be Xbox/PC full exclusive or at minimum at least 12 months. curious to see what they do
At first I thought it was a little ass backwards to put out the netflix preview and then put out the magazine interviews and YouTuber videos etc after.
i get why they did it that way, but would have prefered the print media previews and then an in depth deep dive.
still really wish the netflix preview felt more intentional. felt like they just kinda threw everything they felt comfortable sharing
they're hiding a big piece of the game for sure. i still cant believe d came out of hiding (RIP) for one song in rdr2
i think druski's gonna be in the game to some degree. there's def gonna be some celeb cameos. but i think there's gonna be a big gameplay element that rockstar is hiding even from the people with review copies
what are you going to do after breaking into homes?
b+e as a apart of the game will be insane
Given that the game is now using free aim as default instead of lock on, I wonder how difficult the game will end up being?
where is this confirmed? im sure there will be an auto lock aim option though
The Netflix special was all we needed gameplay wise ngl
The marketing is just selling the world of vice city now
imagine behind the scenes it was going to be daft punk but then they retired
My only worry atp is the police system tbh. Like will stealing a car or pulling a gun enter you into 20 minute engagement with the extremely complex and detailed wanted systems
will it get old
will it feel like a drag every time you get a wanted level
for some reason i have faith and belief that they have fine tuned the system to the point that it feels genuine and not like a gimmick. the level of tech we're working with these days and how long this dev cycle took, i think the last year was probably just fine tuning s*** like this

tbh it would have been sick if they didn't do extended previews or interviews and just dropped that s***, even if that would have been unrealistic (especially after both leaks). would have been nice to go into this without knowing a single thing
2 WEEKS FOR PRE LOAD
3 WEEKS FOR GTA 6
DON’T DO NO DUMB S*** THIS WEEKEND STAY SAFE WE ALMOST AT THE FINISH LINE ❤️🎃
Precisely
Trailers aren’t selling anyone atp
The game itself will market itself.
Hell, reviews the day before will probably push people who are either on the fence or actively ambivalent about the game to decide whether or not they’ll want to jump in on launch day, since those will likely show off of all the wild details and mechanics of the game and how they play off of each other (alongside detailing things like story, characters, game feel, combat and how Rockstar’s mission design has evolved).
The 18th is gonna be an event in and of itself.

If main story progress is impeded by forcing players to actually interact with the game world and doing side content then that will absolutely limit how far people will be able to go in the story within that 18 hour window.

whoever isn’t buying the first week will cop for christmas
i anticipate this will drive console sales for pc casuals, those with mid tier graphics cards that just don’t wanna wait
the only ppl that won’t cave are pc die hards
rockstar is lucky ps5 emulation hit a brick wall
i’m ngl guys playing rdr2 after running gta v…
30fps legit blows when you get used to 60. i’m hoping pc release is soon bc id legit invest in a high tier pc just to play it at the highest level
Police use stinger strips and K9 units.
Carjackings are riskier. Some drivers are armed, and pricey cars have trackers.
In getaways you can switch characters, with one driving and one shooting.
Every vehicle has a fuel gauge and engine health.
Some story missions are gated behind raising cash, for example through gas station or jewelry store robberies.
Random encounters pull you in, like a carload of kids bullying you into a street race.
first wasted off of a nigga blowing your s*** back for even trying to reach for the door handle will be shocking
