what's stopping the events from SA/Vice City from being canon in the HD universe? nothing contradicts anything

its so much cooler for me when playing gta5 knowing CJ might've been running around the same streets in the early 90's causing havoc and that we can pop in SA and experience this, idk

Since game awards isnt tied to nintendo, sony and co. it is still a relatively unbiased and big platform accross the industry which is great for competition.

Huge publishers already killed E3 since they realized there wasnt as big of a merrit for themselves since they can now just flood people with their own marketing and dont have to share the stage potentially helping market a competitor
