Thankful battle passes and micro transactions were not a thing when I was a kid
would have charged my parents hundreds and would have nothing to show for it
At least the games I bought back then I can still play on Xbox

Kr0niic gone tomorrow
What a great week!
I was 15 when gta v came out and I had to tell them I already stole their credit card and bought gta iv on games on demand so I’ve experienced it already
I was then grounded the entire summer until gta’s release as they looked at their $300 credit card bill of all the game purchases I made cause I had no concept of money
That's one of the worst examples of digging yourself into a deeper hole I've ever heard

Tomorrow will herald a new era, one in which GTA 6 will take its rightful place on the proverbial throne of gaming, the pinnacle of interactive entertainment. So begins the era of GTA 6. Rejoice!"

nah for real gang. this actually legit got me so excited in a way i haven't felt for a while
especially about video games
It’s insane to think about how different gaming culture was when GTA V dropped.
Bioshock Infinite dropped and became known as a innovation of storytelling in videogames (which people have definitely turned 180 on since then)
Dead Space 3 dropped and killed the franchise for so long it didn’t get anything until a remake for the first game a decade later
The Last of Us was a smash hit and the PS3’s swan song. The game would single handily change the industry forever (for better and for worse)
Kojima was still with Konami
Nintendo was bombing hard with the Wii U and literally nothing was working
Call of Duty began its fall off with Ghosts, and really never got back to where it once was.
All the weird s*** Microsoft was tryna do with the Xbox One, which resulted in them losing an entire console generation from the jump

I downloaded it like 12 times. Changing PC’s, on macbooks, PS3/4/5.

The fact we haven't gotten a Bioshock sequel is also a tragedy
F*** The Last Of Us movie games
