There’s nothing wrong with a female protagonist. What an absurd criticism. It’s how they execute the satire/content that’s worth having reservations about. Right there with you gang, I’m glad the game where you can simulate mass shootings is toning down the naughty radio jokes.

Only part that kind of disappoints me is that it will just be Miami (at least to start). I feel like after this long and considering we got 3 cities in SA almost 20 years ago, we should get at least another small city to actually make planes worth something. And as cool as Miami is, I feel like vice city still stands as the perfect Miami iteration of gta, sure we can get a more detailed and interactive version now but id rather see a new city if its just going to be one. Hopefully they have a large countryside with swamps, Florida keys, maybe even disneyworld/space center spoofs too

The original concept seemed to be a gigantic map based on the northernmost and southernmoust states, you'd fast travel to cross the gap, it's a shame they didn't end up doing that but it sounds like it was killing the developers

the original concept sounded amazing, though too good to be true. if we got LC, VC, Cuba, a South American city and Carcer City as the recent leak described it would be perfect but im not holding my breath. that sounds insanely tough. I would be good with just VC + countryside and a moderately sized island based on Cuba/DR or even just VC and New Orleans or some other southern city

I think thats what we're getting with the updates in the future, the article already said we're getting cities later on and I'm fine with that as long the map is big and we have more to do than on GTA V

As of now I don’t have a single doubt about this game. And I hope it takes a bit more serious of a tone.

yeah I just question how frequently they'll be updating it, especially if the story will be paused while they work on new cities to continue it. I love the idea of eventually getting all of those locations but if we can only play like half the story for the first 2 years, it feels like it kind of cheapens the storytelling of the game which is always huge for rockstar

The gag is they have a completed version of all of the cities but they’re just saving it all for longevity sake and will drop the expansions over time.

The quote about “this will save them from crunch in the months leading to release” makes me feel this is true. Polish 1 location and its missions then polish the rest for after the release.

even though what I just said about this strategy harming the storytelling still stands, it is a pretty genius way to milk this game for another 10-15 years. if they just give us like 3 new cities over the next decade, most people will be happy with that
