Why do people act like "edginess" is the best thing about GTA?

The streets been asking for that HR approved GTA. Thankfully I won’t have to hear those mean spirited jokes on the radio while I drive through a parade of people.

I thought about that myself, but they haven't let me down yet (single player wise)

If they make a compelling or at least interesting character it can work.

I feel like they should use a very purple color pallette for the artwork, this is a guns out love story it seems.

Anyway, as far the leaks, I'm not believing a damn thing until I see a trailer but I do hope they go in a more serious tone, like closer to what 4 had. That's all I want. And innovate the open world genre to new heights like the last titles have done. This ain't your average everyday game being made, thanks to the games before it. It HAS to be iconic or it's a failure. I know Rockstar knows this better than anyone and I personally cant wait to see if they can strike lighting in a bottle for what, like the 5th or 6th time.

honestly I know they aren't related but RDR2 was so amazing that it made my expectations so high and I dont think GTA 6 will top it (im talking about the open-world environment and all the little small details thats added and s***)

Yep if we don’t have to fill up for gas, get pulled over for speeding tickets, and have to clean the interior of our car every few hours I will be disappointed

Build off all the micro details RDR2 had, I wanna feel like the sims in my immersion

I kind of agree, I feel like it's harder to fit that kind of detail in a dense urban setting, I also weirdly think they'll step back from the gore of RDR2, it might be jarring to see in a modern context with automatic weapons

I have no doubt that they gonna deliver a good single player experience they always do.

I love them both but they're also very different from each other so I get why some people would heavily favor one over the other
