And yea, the "tone" for most GTA's have been from a more "patriarchal" point if view in terms if how they handle gender roles (the exception I would say is GTA IV where they add some nuances with Karen/Elizibeta having relative power in a "man's" game, only to be taken advantage of by those higher up OR disregarded once they fail), so it will be interesting to see, and I would say that while it's not something to be worried about, the concerns of how they handle the story will be important.

GTA III has a female end boss who appears in GTA SA a lot

FriesI kind of agree, I feel like it's harder to fit that kind of detail in a dense urban setting, I also weirdly think they'll step back from the gore of RDR2, it might be jarring to see in a modern context with automatic weapons

Really hoping they don’t lib the game up and go out of their way to avoid touchy subjects altogether though.
Obviously cutting things like transphobic and homophobic jokes makes sense, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make fun of it (transphobia & homophobia) and the people who partake in it.
