except that's how rockstar is able to reach so many people. yea they could drop it tomorrow but the hype train and the ancticipation would pay off way more for them. I'm postitive this game will beat GTA V's launch day.

Rockstar has the money to plaster this game on every billboard and coffee cup prior to release and that's how you'll reach the most people. Not everyone is chronically online.

I agree for the most part but the point I was making is that it causes so much buzz that you don’t even need to be online like that to know about it

Most people are gonna have at least a friend or family member that plays it and talks about it a bunch

Regardless they will still advertise it like crazy come next summer

Right lol who doesn't know how Rockstar operates at this point. They know they have a catalog of the best games of all time sales wise and review and popularity wise and know what they are working on now is probably the most amazing thing ever. Though some ppl will have outrageous expectations point is they can just work on their game and announce new info on it whenever they want

Cyberpunk devs bounced back pretty nicely from that disaster of a release. I don’t see rockstar even allowing something like that to happen though. They’ll delay it before they f*** up a release
