we finally got some news
Imagine being a Rockstar employee and waking up today to find out there was a fire at your office, so you think “well at least this will give me the day off and I can mentally recover from these crunch hours”
But then you find out you do have to still work today, and you also gotta deal with a burning smell in the building for the rest of the week
Yall got to think of peoples safety and things other than just you getting what you want
Where did i say that there is something wrong with this
It kinda blows my mind how a game can be in development for this long. Like at a certain point are they having to update over their work because it becomes outdated?

Yeah there’s a risk of it feeling outdated.
I mean look at Duke Nukem Forever. Over a decade in development; when it dropped it looked ancient.
That example is on the extreme end though. And the game wasn’t being developed throughout that time.
Btw I don’t think it will be outdated apart from some references in the game.

The amount of detail , covid , learning / creating a new engine that will be used for many years . Updating online especially anti cheat , testing . As well as supporting previous games. It makes some level of sense as well as major leaks

Imagine Rockstar still made them sign an NDA.

This what I'm curious about too, especially the pop culture references in a game like GTA. Like they probably had to rewrite/re-record some s*** with it taking so long
Imagine Rockstar still made them sign an NDA.
Why wouldn't they? Even if someone is sick, it would be stupid for any company to send them out into the world with information this valuable without at least protecting themselves
Imagine Rockstar still made them sign an NDA.
Any time a make a wish kid goes to a game company they still sign NDA it’s procedure whether they are going to die or not . Why would they want their game to get leaked this close to launch for any reason ?

Maybe, but RDR2 is still state of the art to this day, I can’t imagine this releasing and feeling like a last gen game
I booted up GTA IV again after all these years and damn does it still hold up. So ahead of it's time it's crazy

I figured they still would. Probably amended with the “Take this to the grave” clause and everything.

They have to. The parent could be in there watching him play too. I imagine the playtest could be used on very plot heavy points to test as well.

Still the best in the series besides San Andreas.
I want VI to have the variety and epic ness of SA and the darker tone and groundedness of IV. Wishful thinking as it looks like it's going to be more like V unfortunately but hey we'll see.
