Yeah I’m playing it either way but a game created over that many years will have some hits and misses . Due to length of development. Limits of tech . Their focus is more online now . Which in most games I love their multiplayer after their single player or it compliments it well . GTA V I played at launch so never fully got into gta online . I will enjoy it some but feels like it would get old in some ways for me especially with how much people can buy in the world

I mean Rockstar rep has gotten shaky since RDR2 with the crunch stuff, then you got the Defective Trilogy, the firing of workers looking to unionize. R* been grimy

Defective trilogy outsourcing it was a bad move . Fighting unionization and crunch bad though . There are so many studios working on this it will make sense why the delay especially with rumored switch 2 version . Also hearing there is push to get pc version out faster than a year by a bit . Because helix already likely next year unless it pushes then ps6 2028.

That, and the fact that this game is going to feel dated, one way or the other. I don't think Rockstar can avoid this faith, they've been workingon it for too long and its just the way of the world now.

I mean writing may feel dated but gameplay mechanics still have a chance to feel a lot more detailed than what’s out right now . Thanks to new engine and some of the shooting and hanging out of car stuff we’ve seen . Open world games and sandbox games is definitely a genre that has stagnated . Watch dogs and Ubisoft formula .

It more becomes what specifically do you want or desire from a gta in 2026. Me personally I want more RPG lilt mechanics of the past . Attention to detail . Some level of choice mechanics . I’m not excited about social media mechanic

Yea, the gameplay is definitely going to blow the competition out the water for sure. But when you really think about it, I think the actual story for this game isn't as important to Rockstar as people would like to believe. Their online component makes a ton of money, and it'll continue to do so.

What's going to blow people away is the social media component tbh. I'm expecting an actual social media app, built around the game, that lives and breathes without playing the game. That will possibly blow peoples mind.

Hmm I mean all that could really be is players posting their moments . Hoping npcs have a lot more individual details to them and life routines that can lead to side quest and unexpected . Time will tell on that front . I don’t think accessing a phone or a computer within a game is fun
