in this case, it doesnt really matter because you cant play the game without having that initial internet connection, defeating the purpose of having a physical disc

if the physical discs had the complete game and all its data on there like they used to without that extra component then yeah, physical over digital all day

Nah, you can download the base game without internet. Internet is just needed for updates and day one patches

yea the downloading aspect kills it for me cause i would purchase physicals to avoid this with digital. almost no advantages to having physical unless you’re a collector imo

• Having a tangible piece of art
• Front & back box art
• Displaying your collection as decoration in your home
• Always being able to see your entire library rather than just what's installed on your console at the moment
• For very rare or limited games, having an item that appreciates in value over time if kept in sealed/near-mint condition
• Not having to worry about the game getting de-listed or removed from your account ever
