It can work inversely depending on the level of bang for your buck in GTA VI. Which means other developers would need to step up and really prove why their game is worth 80 bucks

I think it’s inevitable for games to be $80 for the upcoming PS6 era, the Switch 2 was the first sign of that

But for PS5 games, I think overall most games will still be $70. The majority of upcoming games won’t be able to justify that $80 price tag

I think it’s a really smart move for Rockstar to only release single player mode at release.
They’ve spent several years working on the single player story and experience. Delaying GTA Online gives everyone a chance to take their time and play through the story at the same time, then they can talk about it, digest the story and world etc

And meanwhile behind the scenes Rockstar can spend even more time perfecting GTA Online, and by then everyone will have completed the story and will be hungry to dive in to Online mode

i think you have to buy the add on but no they dont come with disc drives out the box
