9/23 Update

Let's take some time to appreciate the numbers that Rod Wave is quietly putting up.

In August 2022, Rod Wave dropped his fourth studio album, Beautiful Mind. The album did 115K first week, on par with artists that dropped albums that year like Lil Durk (120.5K), Jack Harlow (113K), and NBA YoungBoy (108.4K) - all artists at the time respected for their commercial success. The album finished the year with 775K units moved, nearly 1M units in 3.5 months since the albums release. It was certified Platinum a few weeks ago, but was probably eligible much sooner.

After dropping an EP in November 2022, Jupiter's Theory, to coincide with his 2022 tour, he began working on his 5th album.

The first single, "Fight the Feeling", would release March 2023.

The song debuted at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has charted for 18 weeks (and counting).

The next single "Call Your Friends", was released a few weeks ago.

The song debuted at #26 on Billboard Hot 100.
Rod Wave's peaks and longevity on the Billboard Hot 100 is especially impressive as they are mainly off sales and streams - he doesn't get radio play like that.

The third single dropped last Friday - "Come See Me".

Rod Wave is putting up consistent numbers with no gimmicks, just good music which his fans support. He may not be talked about as much as his contemporaries, but he is right there with them in terms of success.

He's already breaking Billboard top 20-top 30 and selling 100K+ consistently (last two albums) off his core alone. I would love to see him go all the way.

He dont do many collabs or pay rap pages to post him either. He just feeds the fans.
