Probably won't be coming to PS4 and Xbox because Planet Coaster (which aside from the DLC is so much better) is coming to those consoles in December.

i just want a new game in the style of 1 & 2. just update the f*** out of 2 for a console/pc release tbh

while it's not official OPEN RCT2 is basically an open source remake of the 2nd game. really good. fixes a lot of bugs apparently and releases some limits. just lots of good features to make the game more intuitive to play.

and im pretty sure there's lots of community creates theming i think.

They should make this for a console I kind of liked this as a teenager

If you liked this game and have a PS4 they released a game on PC called Planet Coaster. It's coming to consoles soon. Which is why I don't think this port is going to those consoles.

The game virtually has no limits to design. They removed the grid system and you can place items virtually anyways. People make some crazy s***.

Same devs of RCT3 but just not attacthed to the RCT brand anymore. And have done a modern coaster game way better than anyone else rn.

If they are the same devs then it’s automatically a good game. I might love to make some crazy s*** if I had the chance to.

Game is free on Epic game store rn. not compatible with Mac BUT you can still claim it and own it if you ever end up with a windows.

All that’s different is they added 1080p support... BUT NO 1440p or 4k its just a reason to resell the game

It's because it looks like Frontier (developers of Planet Coaster as well) bought the rights to this game completely. ATARI is not mentioned at all anymore. The game has been delisted for 2 years apparently.

And really no 4k support? Well apparently the mod scene for this game has already taken care of that so.

Reason I'm excited is cuz I bought it on Switch since I don't have a PC.
