i don't understand people who defend bootlegs
do they realize that this is 100 times worse than pirating music ?

Also these are albums easily found on streaming
It’s not like Aaliyah or other artists/albums that aren’t easily accessible
if you honestly bought this thinking it was a legit vinyl you deserved to be scammed for more than $39

I'm just trying to understand, why not bootleg if the album doesn't have an official release? Especially if there's a low chance of an official vinyl release, such as channel orange. Also, blonde isn't ever getting repressed on vinyl, and those prices aren't going down, so I understand people buying boots of that too.
frank account complaining about ''scams''
stfu your goat a scam
bought all of em

first you're stealing someone's intellectual property by using their music without their agreement, and then you're making money from it.
the fact that there aren't any official releases doesn't matter

Yeah, I see your point. The morals are def sketchy, but to them, that's business. They saw a market with demand and are capitalizing on it. While I think it's immoral, they're probably making a kiilling, and that's capitalism for you.

there’s also a demand for a lot of illegal things doesn’t mean major corporations whole heartedly fill the void
this is like me downloading blonde, ripping it on cd and making thousands of dollars selling it at amoeba lmao it’s illegal and an infringement of copyright

No, they don't press the records, they're just a retailer. I think since they just are a retailer it's legal, like my local brick and mortar record store will sell some old zeppelin and springsteen boots.
