Bro is yet to wash off the stench of that album
Ngl it made me feel bad for him how hard he got fried but that s*** was ass tho
I am serious. Do you think listening to misognystic music makes you a misognyist? Or can you listen to the music and enjoy it for what it is while possessing different ideals of your own
You said if every single person on ktt stopped listening to misogynistic music what would change.
I think there would be a big chain reaction from that. Not realistic but if that happened I'm sure the music we get wouldn't be as 'misogynistic'
Y'all really think Ice Spice is a 10 Drake is referring to?
like the line is misognyist either way but a 10?
Calm down ElChapo tread easily on my queen
And why is it always a hip hop problem but it’s never a rock music problem? Nobody out here writing think pieces about how big of creeps and pedos rock artists have been since the 50s and using it as a means to say THIS GENRE AS A WHOLE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE
you only see hip hop get treated like this
Rock hasn’t been relevant for over 15 f***ing years
Stop the cope
That’s like saying “Let’s leave movies with characters who say/do unlikeable things in 2022”
how about let’s get rid of this backwards boring way of perceiving art in 2022…
I'm a black woman who deals with misogyny everyday but even I know this will never happen
damn
All of this has always existed in the genre, but the weird thing is how now, the latter half of 2022, is when it becomes a talking point outside of the culture. I think half of it is the already growing pushback against hiphop’s fundamental problematic elements that traditionally would’ve been brushed away with “it’s just a reflection of culture…” under the guise of “but it’s OUR culture and we need to protect it, good and bad”. Idk if anyone else has noticed, but this generation doesn’t have the same sense of treating hiphop as sacred - there’s a vocal disdain for hiphop’s negativity that left black people branded oldheads or coons for calling out
There’s another half of this as well: this years discussions on gender wars/redpilling. And with hiphop being the biggest genre, it’s bound to be included in this discussion, and its misogynistic elements almost retrofitted to be a part of a recent trend (ie what the title of the article does)
Always existing is a stretch
‘80s and early ‘90s East Coast rap was very female friendly

oh you think if every person that comes on this site stopped listening to misogynistic music things would change?
Nigga we are a drop in the ocean. We not even a drop in the ocean.
Remember when Chance dropped an album talking about how much he loved his wife and everyone called him a cornball and said it was the worst s*** ever lol
It was lol
Read some feminist literature and bump Carti
the dudes making it aren't going to stop unless the listeners stop supporting them
like the dude that wrote this article is supposedly against misogyny but is a fan of Quando Rondo
Virtue signaling at it's finest.
But the article was bait anyways. Nothing genuine about it

Have you seen his baby mama? Ice Spice is a 100
he's not a feminist rapper i'll tell you that much
and replace it with what
love this question and I can show you better than i can tell you
"I really love big girls😋 don't play with me"
Don't play with me crodie
Misogyny is weird and lame and if you defend it you're probably some loser bozo
Their definition of “misogyny” includes just saying the word b****
Yea sorry can’t do it
Have you seen his baby mama? Ice Spice is a 100
