Nigga called Quando Rondo the future of rap in one of his other articles, i dont wanna hear this.
He said that?
a lot of people huffing and puffing but haven’t read the article which is saying something. how can you speak on s*** you haven’t read

How are rappers taking advantage of women using lyrics? Reminder that in rap, women talk s*** about men the exact same way men talk s*** about women. It's always been that way.
Women can rap about d***ging/stealing from men and calling men every other name in the book (which, for the last part, they have the right to do based on their experiences), but men call women hoes/bitches and that's where the line gets drawn? Come on.
I'm just tired of the fake wokeness and outrage.
Let people rap about whatever they wanna rap about. If you don't like it, don't listen.
this is gonna feel like a cop out, but yes that is rap culture not black culture. I just don’t want to attribute toxicity (from any side) with a race of my kind. it is far reaching and you have tons of black people that condemn those kind of lyrics in rap music more than people who support it
I don’t deny that women get more pass with their lyrics than men, but it’s just the proximity of power here
Just listen to different rappers
I'm just confused. Let's take Drake out of it, doesn't this apply to 99% of rappers? Like when Drake is no longer the biggest rapper, we'll put Yeat and Uzi and Carti's pictures on here.
If we applied the same scrutiny we do to Drake to other rappers, they are 10x worse than him. They're using Drake hate to try to put a muzzle on hiphop in general or certain aspects of black culture.
The fact that one multiple-entendre line by Drake has them doing this much highlights how stupid they all are.
They're acting like Drake is ONLY JUST NOW having lines in music that talks down on women. That's something he has done his whole career but they didn't care even as recently as on CLB, which dropped last year.
Soon as it was a line they took to be about a female celeb they care about, now it's time to cancel Drake lmao. It's all so ridiculous. That's why I can never take s*** like this seriously.
majority of black people (hell, people in general) work for sus ass corporations though. unfortunately it’s mandatory for a lot of us in order to earn a living or advance in our career goals
it’s fair to criticize Rolling Stone in general but it isn’t fair to make this man out to be a coon for expressing his opinion through an article. that is his job
it’s like no one can make any real rebuttals in response to his article so it’s resorting to personal attacks and criticizing his blackness, which isn’t right
Everyone understands when u work for someone u gotta be a certain way we all know the ppl who get hired for these jobs tho take him out of it maybe he dif idk.
But it’s some alt nigga who be on Twitter all day and prob listen to Kendrick Lamar, kid cudi and some other s*** which doesn’t make them less black but they don’t rep Black culture much either unless talking down on it. They make these articles for white people about black ppl.
No you’re just being reductive and moralistic all the sudden. It’s silly and dumb.
I think you just enjoy arguing. Or maybe you're really just that stupid and socially inept to understand what I was saying.

You'll still be mine, I'll still be yours

He might be realer than I thought lmao
But yeah tht make his point dumb af cause if u bumping quando and them niggas u supporting murder type s***
the only way to realistically leave misogynistic rap behind is to make other kinds of rap popular but tbh I don't think it will ever happen
ain't no way rappers like MIKE will ever be popular as Future
I think you just enjoy arguing. Or maybe you're really just that stupid and socially inept to understand what I was saying.
You dismissed people who pushed back against this narrative as losers. I don’t enjoy arguing. I don’t care who you are, if anyone had said that I’d call them out for it. As I said it’s reductive moralistic finger wagging and I don’t expect it of you.

You and your weirdo red pilled bullshit. F*** off Fidelio.
Paralleling Drake and Future in a misogyny discussion is weird because we all know that Future is a character on some level. We helped create him by making that persona successful. It's been discussed to death in all the threads about him being a fake d*** addict.
Drake catches more criticism for misogyny because he spent a decade plus pitching himself as a sensitive nice guy in touch with his feelings. Future would have gotten away with the Meg and Ice Spice lines whereas Drake couldn't because people expect better from him, whether that's fair or not.
Drake has ALWAYS been misogynistic. He has ALWAYS had lyrics that were "problematic" as far as how he described his relationships with women and how he treated them. The "nice guy" persona is something people threw on Drake because he's a well-spoken biracial dude who looks safe.
He has always been s***ting on women in his lyrics. Always. People just chose to not acknowledge it.
If you can’t get some s*** like this off please stay out the booth
They was calling jay misogynistic and he said “so”?
He might be realer than I thought lmao
But yeah tht make his point dumb af cause if u bumping quando and them niggas u supporting murder type s***
What I’m tryna say, the writer of this article seems mad conceited
but I agree with the broader point he brings up
but you literally can’t take a moral standpoint of being against misogyny when taking a life and other gm s*** is much worse
You and your weirdo red pilled bullshit. F*** off Fidelio.
What red pilled bullshit, what the f*** are you even on about?
If you can’t get some s*** like this off please stay out the booth
I got 99 problems but a b**** aint one
He might be realer than I thought lmao

Yea man 90% of his articles about shaderoom topics, I cant take this man serious. And then he got s*** about EST Gee who only rap about Fent.
KTT might aswell start turning threads into articles and publiish a magazine atp.
Notice how they pick on this stuff but none of the big white media outlets will talk about YB’s growth for example. Which is a legitimately compelling story to be told
That’s just one example there’s obvs a lot of different things you can point to I just think it’s funny how these outlets are so focused on tearing hip hop down and completely ignore any of the objectively positive things. Which if you want the bad stuff to end so bad shouldn’t it be those positive examples that you spend more time promoting? But they don’t and I think that says a lot
