the debut was more popular in the uk where they're from. am was popular cos they were so big that year but they also got hate for americanising themselves

i get rolling stone only care about america view of it tho

yeah you're right the first one was huge over there

but picking the s/t just seems so... basic idk

not mad at that or beach boys at #2, better than sgt peppers at #1.

Should be in the top 10-15 but not #1. It’s not even better than thriller

Black people need a real nigga magazine anyway since Source,KING and XXL went down. Tell them you couldn’t go to any hood in Florida without hearing at least one Boosie song on any given day between 2006-2010.

Wax Poetics just came back tap in

  • Sep 22, 2020

Thriller should be number 1 now and forever. That album could be aoty every year since it came out

i think his content and lyrics on whatever people say elevate it over most indie albums from the 2000s, the debut does that best imo

I'm not mad at that at all, its not like there's this huge gap in quality between the 2 albums..
FWN just takes the edge for me cause of songs like teddy picker or 505
    but they both f***ing great

Prince barely on the top top 50? beyonce in top 30? No the Eminem Show? Radiohead 1 entry?

Before Boosie got locked up he was legit the pac of the south. I can’t even discuss southern hip hop to people who don’t understand that, which is like 80% of ktt

A Boosie Fade was a legit hairstyle back then. I think he started the plaid shorts trend too lol. Boosie was a phenomenon and Bad Azz is a classic.
