I don’t agree with that. At that time, gkmc was the first instant classic since mbdtf. It put Kendrick in that top 3 conversation and exposed him to a way larger audience. Gkmc is more time defining and the better album.

Take Care is the ultimate 2011-defining album lmao. I think the list was actually pretty solid, ofcourse not everything is going to be 100% agreeable when you're making a TOP 500. But the albums that made the highest rankings were all pretty much justified overall and have been doing well retrospectively with critics in general.
