holy s*** you can see they made that list in 2020. I was always amazed at how rock-oriented the old Rolling Stones list was. now we're all for black culture and s*** so hey
Where is trilogy?
Edit: I was asking for the position, but this s*** actually isn't even on here
. Even BBTM is on here
I looked back at the 2012 list every now and the over the years but wow so much has changed. Completely different pretty much even with the decades old projects
Yep,for them to completely move Sgt Pepper from #1 says a lot.
Lemonade better than Illmatic
and they wonder how people think Beyonce is overrated
is there a version of this fitted to one page? I hate it when they only show so many entries per page
How is Confessions not even in the top 150 despite it being the most influential R&B album of the entire 2000s?
Janet Jackson doesn't have ONE of her big 4 albums in the top 100 either?
Mary J Blige too? Thriller outside of the top 10? I didn't see a Mariah album in the top 100 either come to think of it.
I'm not even trying be rude, but there were quite a few recent albums in the top 100 that really didn't deserve a spot.
I think these lists are better when separated by genre, not just a bunch of random albums from all genres thrown together. It's much easier to forget. I also think some of these choices were picked on current popularity of the artist too, instead of how great and impactful the actual album was. But I digress, in real life these lists end up meaning nothing. If people aren't talking about it over time and you don't see much impact, but it was ranked really high here, it shows what actual people think of it and not just what the industry tells us to believe
It’s amazing how Supa Dupa Fly is getting its props now. Missy and Timb was really ahead of the game.
This and ginuwine the bachelor came out under 9 months apart
Take care better than every Kanye album but mbdtf
Better than that one too

Yeah critics in general before 2010s were so white-male oriented, and 95% of acclaim was always towards white male musicians with a few tokens thrown in.
It's crazy the u-turn critic culture has taken the past decade with Rock being a dead genre now.
