imagine living with a random person you don’t even connect with
could never b me
The thing is they told me this unit was empty and I would be the only tenant. I don’t mind having a roommate because I like the apartment complex and its amenities, it’s just I don’t have the ability to select a roommate. The leasing office just fills in spots.

damn, sorry to hear that s*** OP, i know how them games be like
didnt even realize who op was before I wrote but it applies to anyone. I personally know several people who had weetodded ass neighbors in the dorm leaving their doors open and getting their s*** SWEPT down to mommy's casserole in the freezer. some people deserve to get hit with a metal pipe over their heads multiple times fr
Exactly, there’s a reason why locks exist in the first place. Plus you never know who could be watching or waiting, like that dude in Idaho who killed all them college students for no reason. I’m not taking any chances and the worst thing that could happen is the leasing office saying they can’t change my unit.
The roommate I was assigned this semester constantly leaves the front door open to our apartment throughout the night, leaves the lights on which makes our electricity bill go up, and keeps changing the thermostat to 66 degrees. Now it's cold outside, and this dude is trying to get everyone sick. On top of that, my bed is literally right beside the window, so I'm already freezing. It’s 37 degrees outside right now, why the f*** is the thermostat on 66???
should I ask the leasing office for a different room? I have been robbed too many times, and this dude has been living in this apartment for four semesters, so I guess he feels like it's his apartment.
On top of that, our apartment is on the corner, allowing homeless/random people to look right into the unit. I'm worried about one of them somehow entering the apartment building and opening the door. My roommate leaves his bedroom door unlocked, so someone could easily walk inside, hide in his room, and I'd have no idea.
Put homie in check.
5’7, 128, 9%, my Glock stay on me tho
see if u slump em with the strap thats all on u. thats a real lose lose
If you don't feel comfortable having a serious talk with him about it then yeah go to the leasing office of whoever and tell them its not working and you want to transfer rooms
Alternatively... set something up with a group of friends to have them bust in like they're going to a party then realize they have the wrong door? That should make him realize how dangerous it is. Or pretend someone stole your stuff and say its cause he kept leaving the door open. But really talking with him would be less risky than this
As far as leaving the thermo on 66 in January idk what to tell you there thats actual insanity
pay someone to rob him

Not mommys casserole
I turned the thermostat to 75 I couldn’t take it anymore
Roommate about to walk in like

Piss in his Apple juice @op
stage a robbery of some random s*** of his
Steal a small item and when he asks where it is say someone probably came in and stole it when the door was open.
Change the thermostat while he sleeps.
Even if it doesn’t make me sick I can’t focus freezing every night. I don’t mind the cold but it’s kinda crazy sleeping beside a window and then having the A/C on 66. It feels better outside then in the damn unit
Go to Walmart and buy a small electric heater like this .
They’re like $20 and it’ll warm up your entire room quick af .
They come in all different types of sizes
