The spreadsheet wasn't the problem

The spreadsheet brought in inaccurate numbers which led to the problem

But that's not how accounting works

I've never see it in a excel spreadsheet

At least where I work

This was great and I felt good supporting them

this is some s*** where you just know some guys don't come from a corporate background

if you've worked in a corporate setting, especially 6 figure type of jobs (banking, consulting, etc.) you know that you basically live in Excel and all financial or data s*** lives in excel

yeah. they should have gotten an updated spreadsheet with the correct numbers

but most financial data comes in excel form. if it's in a PDF, the financial parts came from excel

what does it come in where you work?

if you want to see the numbers that the excel is based on then that's really an audit

It's in the contract. That's how they were able to view the books after a "$400K mistake" from the accounting firm that was hired by Joe. Within the contracts Joe is required to give quarterly reports for the three to view. He hasn't let Mal or Rory view the quarterly reports for almost a year.

Joe Budden would always yell at young rappers to be on top of their paperwork and money because you can't trust labels and the contracts they draft up every lil show he's had/been on...but then doesn't allow his own friends/co-workers to stay on top of their paperwork and money even though their contracts state he has to

they wanted accounting. accounting usually comes in an excel spreadsheet. it might be a PDF, but the financial data is always imported from excel. he thought that wasn't accounting but it was. if he wanted more detail than that, then that's an audit

Nah they sent an excel sheet with 400k missing and when they asked what that was they admitted it was a mistake but then rory and mall never received an updated version. Joe told mal and rory get an audit if you wanna see the numbers and mal said im never doing that to a friend & would rather stop f***ing with u
