i don't think thats what she'll do but i get the concern

from whenever i see her speak on her music and stuff (if i have subtitles or a translation), she's all about experimentation and doesn't wanna make the same stuff over again. Think her album will be more exploration like that. The singles this year have widened her audience tho and that's where she can get cheap (but good) hits. I think she knows her lane and when to crossover

I speak Spanish so I can confirm your thoughts bro, she is definitely an exquisitely trained musician and has an equally exquisite respect for music, those reggaeton tracks are obviously just her having fun and broadening her appeal

why A Palé is so hard

  • Nov 15, 2019

Our girl won 3 Latin Grammys last night!

    Album of the Year
Contemporary Pop Album Of The Year
    Urban Song (Con Altura)

EMQ won 2 more but i believe Best Packaging and Engineering don't go to her

She has 5 of these total from this year and last. We literally follow a living legend already

If you're interested in another artist kinda shaking up Flamenco like Rosalia has, I suggest Maria Jose Llergo. I've had my eye on what shes been up to for nearly a year now and she's progressed into an "avant garde" type vibe with the genre. She was in the same college program as Rosalia (they only accept 1 student a year) and seems to be on a similar track (signed a similar deal with Sony in Spain and has gained much more appeal since i started following her) as her without the pop tho. Only had 1 song when i started now has 5 and hopefully will drop a record soon.

she's great and could very well climb up to be another staple of the genre for Spain.

It’s hard to search s*** cus I literally don’t know Spanish but I kinda got information from her wiki page and different articles. May have translated other s*** at points long time ago

So I think the program she did was basically under one teacher and that teacher only accepted one student a year. He’s not necessarily manufacturing, but it takes a lot to master flamenco. It’s something that takes years and is a very serious art to them. My guess is that they help you master it, then you’re open to opportunities from such highly respected people that you were taught by in school, which eases you to a record deal. Like they didn’t teach Rosalía to make pop music, but more so what she did on her first record Los Angeles. Rosalías switch to pop was all on her own, mixing in what she learned in school. All I know if her first record is on Sony, and I saw Maria signed there too so I kinda connected dots

Now that I’m looking again I can’t guarantee María was under the same teacher but she went to the same college for the same topic, which is why they follow each other on IG too ever since she had few followers

been thinking the same thing :Khaled:

This one and Aute Cuture cover styles are the same, so maybe those two are linked?

all of the releases have been incredible so far
