Lowkey ROSALÍA did what I wanted Charli to
merge the experimental with the mainstream sound in a way that doesn’t drown out either side, but complements both, if that makes sense.
No shade toward Charli either, she’s obviously pulled that off multiple times before especially on the self-titled and HIFRN and Vroom Vroom. It’s just hard not to compare this and Crash when they dropped back to back, and I’m definitely coming back to MOTOMAMI over and over.
