I guess we carry ourselves differently because yeah I don't listen to artists unless I like their overall message. You could say it deprives some art away but I find it helps me go out of my way to look at the underground more to fill that void.

I'm not saying you have to do the same but regardless intentional or not you fund their antics and movements by supporting them with you time/money. That’s just the society is set up.

In a hypothetical situation say you give your plays to another artist similar to Doja but with a self respecting message (whatever you think that is) then you helped build up their platform and that message spreads to more and more people. Only then will you see the change you want to. Action starts with you. It too complicated to explain better but that's just how it is even if we don't like it.

I didn't even mention that I don’t agree with your first point about this generation "having no shame" or "self respect" for simply embracing their bodies. That's a separate but related topic about the misogynistic society we live in. The s*** education system has failed you and the evangelical propaganda seems to have taken control. There's only so much we can do at this point but over the next few generations we will truly be free of the patriarchy and you just might find that self respect you were looking for. It may however come in a different form than you expect.

Ironically what Rubi is doing is more self-respecting than most women in previous generations were capable of. Instead of relying on the man or trading s***for further gain she's able to cut the middle man out completely and profit directly from the consumer all while maintaining creative control on her content and body. From being a black woman relegated to the bottom of society straight to the top 1% of Onlyfans (a predominantly caucasian lead website) that is incredible

And I am a black Muslim born and raised in America, evangelicals don’t inform my opinions, my ideals are purely my own and largely revolve around the religion.

And I want to ask one more question that might seem unrelated, you seen civil so I would like to discuss. Why do you think black female artists tend to have to sexualize themselves to make it in the mainstream while that generally doesn’t apply to white female artists? And if doing things like stripping, dry humping, etc is simply “embracing your body” why is it that dysfunctional communities tend to indulge in hyper sexualization the most?

Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Adele, Billie Eilish, etc all had to sexualize themselves the same way Meg the Stallion, Cardi B, Coi Leray, Doja Cat, nicki Minaj etc did in order to make it in the mainstream?

Black and brown artists generally have to sexualize themselves while white ones don’t, and you have all been brainwashed into viewing this as empowerment. How else would you explain that disparity?
