I don’t wanna get my hopes up, but I’d be surprised if Donald and Stephen agreed to do this if they didnt have most creative control . It probably won’t be shot on film, but I’d imagine they have influence on who will direct it

Also interesting fact, Atlanta was shot on digital but they used a process to give it a grainy film look . So this could still end up looking grainy with great color grading

Donald is very specific on how he wants things to look, so im hopeful this film will look much more interesting than anything Star Wars has released in a very long time

Honestly I’m sure I’ll probably like whatever it is they do with the character, generally speaking. But once again I am calling on Disney, and whoever else is running Star Wars to say goodbye to the Galactic Empire era!! We’ve had enough of it. The galaxy is too vast to keep dredging up this small time period. Now we even have a potential 2nd galaxy to explore, it’s time to let it go.
