Yup. Yeezus being rough around the edges added to its appeal, but it just didn’t work as well with everything he dropped afterwards

Yeezus and TLOP being big successes ultimately ruined Ye’s album process. Now he can just record rushed or incomplete verses a week before the album drops and be completely fine with putting it on the album

I really miss when Ye albums had polish and felt like a complete body of work

Donda has Moon, Come To Life, 24, Off The Grid, Jail... yeah there's not a single huge release that had highs that high ever since this album dropped

It definitely didn't had that big of an impact like some people think. The beef was at its peak when he did the second LP but started to cool down before the third LP happened.

It would've always sold between 250-300k in the first week.
