Nah I don’t see checking in like that. Checking in is a form of intimidation. With checking in you’re basically asking for permission to move around the city freely. Which is why some people are against it.

That's one way of looking at it and alot of ppl feel the same way but J Prince does not use checking in as a form of intimidation most of the time.

For example, when Tekashi 69 came in Houston, he was suppose to check in with the Prince family. Why? because he was talking crazy and was always involved in some s***. Depending on where he is and what he does, someone could harm him or his crew. He was formally invited, not threatened. By checking in, J Prince and his family tells the gangsters to relax or protect him from being harm and also prevents him from harming their ppl.

Tekashi obviously violated that and then went to commit crimes that would be later be used in his RICO case.

Even certain ppl in LA have this rule just to protect certain ppl and prevent gang conflict.
