    Started playing last year, used to play as a kid in 2008-2009.
    Told myself I was gonna take it serious and was absolutely loving it. Got up to 1,650 total level (first account that I got above 1,000 total level).
    I love skilling and the Monotonous grind it takes to level up, that and obtaining cool gear are my favourite things about the game. It brings me back to the good old days :’).
    But I found that I don’t enjoy the PVM aspect of the game, it’s a lot to take in. Dying and loosing items scares the hell out of me and from my research there seems to be only certain ways to do certain bosses (click on this tile, switch gear, etc).
    It’s starting to feel like no matter how much knowledge I obtain from playing, that there’s still a mountain of more information I need to learn to progress.
    I don’t have any buddies to play with and I tried joining a clan but everyone was just obsessed with TOA and PVP (kinda bummed me out so I left)
    I look online and people say “play the game you wanna play it” but at a certain point you need to start getting good gear and weapons, and it seems like the road always ends up leading back to PVM / Raids.
    I love the game and don’t wanna stop playing but maybe I also burnt myself out ..
    Is there any advice anyone can give that can help?
    Not looking for mean comments (skill issue, etc)
    Any bit helps
    :}

    camp armored zombies for zombie axe and try some scurrius. will get your feet wet on prayer switching and bossing. continuing with slayer too, you’ll unlock stronger enemies and learn more mechanics.

    right now think of the fight caves and getting your fire cape as your “raids.” it’s one of the first hurdles and a rite of passage. can be difficult but not impossible, you got it

    scurrius and perilous moons are great introductions to pvm and are very easy once you get used to the basic mechanics of the game.

    it can be intimidating at first but after doing a few kills you will get more and more comfortable and it will become way less stressful to the point where you can kill them without even thinking.

    perilous moons also rewards some pretty good gear and is decent money if you're a main account

    (also all raids in this game can be done solo so don't worry about not having anyone to do them with it just means more gp for you lol)

    id also recommend watching this video to get a general idea on how to progress with pvm etc...
