Just make sure you properly stretch that’s where I went wrong
ain't gonna lie, never consciously stretched my achilles a day in my life but then again I play ball like once or twice a year
my knees be too sore after, my old ass

When they told me I was going to have to get surgery, they told me that my calves were naturally tight and that’s why it snapped. Definitely want to make sure all lower body parts are loose because I definitely used to go out there and just jump right in but that age factor caught up to my ass
Man I’m in the same boat, I can’t wait till I’m injury free and can work out, hoop, etc. again
I have some minor injuries that have been lingering for years now and I have no idea why since I’ve been resting but they aren’t healing. Need to go to an orthopedist or something
Yeah man don't put your health on the back burner. Do all you can reasonably do to not let your injuries become chronic.

Do an ass to grass bodyweight squat. If you can't comfortably sit in that position, feet flat, that's what you need to work on.
