i see
People getting paid to work bro.
You sound crazy if you think they not bringing checkbooks.
I'm prettyyyy sure Russ didn't pay for this feature.
When artist are on Russ's level, they MAY pay, but exchanging of verses and hooks are far more common than money.
Russ is big enough, and is good enough w/hooks, production, etc. to where Baby being featured on his song and in the video is worth it.

The industry is bigger than just the artist. Checkbooks are ALWAYS being used. They have teams to support and people to pay. Every verse ever comes with compensation.
Some artists do it but most of the big ones don’t just do a verse for money. Drake or Kanye aren’t going to take a check if they think the song or artists suck
It's not necessarily about whether or not they suck.
W/Drake and Ye, they're so big you can't pay them enough to do your song. Like, no act has the amount of money to shell out 1.5 Ms or whatever it would actually cost for a Drake / Ye feature.
So w/them it's not even about the money, it's truly about do they f*** with the song and whether or not it's beneficial to them.

This just isn't true. Artists wave feature fees all the time. Literally ALL the time.
Do people pay for features? Sure
Do artists wave fee's for features often? Sure they definitely do.
Do artists exchange services instead of money? Sure they definitely do
None of this is up for date. Every verse does come with compensation, but it isn't always money.
Baby asked Russ for his number, haters mad
Russ will always have more fans in the industry than outside of it
Rappers know how valuable his skillset is. If you produce, write hooks and sing them you're incredibly valuable to any and every act.

Lol you don't understand how the industry works then.
Nothing I said was wrong, like at all.
Artists who write and perform hooks (like Russ did) are contacted for records all the time. Relationships in the industry are built off this base all the time.
