My beat was 123 bpm and I had to move the a cappella down a couple notes to match it up close to the beat

So I feel like maybe the person just found out the bpm of the house remix when the remix could’ve altered the acapella

It was a b**** to find and I still feel like some parts are sloppy but I didn’t cut the vocals at all and it seems like parts thru out the song line up so I think Neph just off beat a little bit or maybe my song is just not built for whatever flow he used

Well considering neph is recording his own punch-ins, idk if this will make sense but in my head the way he’s doing that, it’s like he’s sewing his vocals to the beat. Each punch-in, he’s putting it right where he needs it so that seems inherently harder to remix something like that as opposed to like a Jay Z acapella where he’s just flowing, maybe swinging his raps a little but not anything like the way neph is rapping

But I also don’t use ableton, so I don’t know that time stretching process 😳

I use FL for everything lol

But ya with the way he does these punch ins.....it was hard af but that 123bpm was already so close I just had to fine tune it. Thatwas really what made me even slap this together lol
