Hiding that beautiful voice and songwriting under all them effects and electronics! I got that album last. Boy in Jeans is good though, just relistened recently.

really do miss his more r&b/pop adjacent music tho

he’s so good at making earworm hooks and he actually has the perfect voice for like 2000s usher/jt level catchiness but he’s not on that type of time

i thought calico was a lil creative detour but i guess this is him now lol

end of the day i want musicians to make what they feel tho. so i can’t really complain

boy in jeans —> dreaming of david —> calico felt like a natural progression with dreaming of david kinda meshing the vibes of where he was and where he was going. this one just feels like a happier calico

BUT, i hate to even sound like i’m complaining bc this album is still beautiful and i’m vibing lol
