Holy f***. I was a bit excited for this but I wasn’t expecting to be that great! Astonishing. Adam Sandler gave his best performance to date. It’s unbelievable that this is the same guy that put some god awful s*** movies, put on an amazing performance. Great direction. Felt very real during the intense dialog scenes. Loved how each character was aggressively talking over each other. Intense build up in so many scenes with actual pay off. Wasn’t expecting that ending! The scene with The Weeknd was kinda funny as well. He’s not really an actor but it was super cool to see him in a movie. Once again, A24 knocks it out of the park. Definitely in my top 5 of 2019.
