ehh I hope they forget about it and just continue focusing on making great films, not on getting oscar recognition. Oscars have been sucking major ass this whole century (Moonlight win just the exception to prove the rule), I can't believe how much credit folks still give that bs.

pretty typical for the academy. dark and niche movies that dont cater to general mainstream sensibilities will always get overlooked. although lighthouse did get a nom for best cinematography.
sandler snub really is bullshit though. pattinson shouldve got a nom bare minimum for good time too
