The song by its self is already the perfect outro to Pablo, and the best ye outro on ANY album. The production is crazy, and perfectly encapsulates the energy and theme of the TLOP. As it stands by it's self, it's already a top 10 ye song; but what makes it the GOAT ye song, is the context.

Kanye addresses absolutely everything that happened during the Pablo rollout. It feels like the most real Kanye has ever been, on any song. He talks to us, the media, Jay Z, his debt, influence, etc.

Not to mention none of his lyrics is forced. It flows well, and has great writing with godly production and Sampha on the chorus.

This song is the most personal ye has ever gotten with us. It's the realest he's ever been. You can tell what was going through his mind at the time.

Seriously. Go back and read the tweets from when he was asking zuck for 1 billion, then listen to Saint Pablo. This his best song, f*** a Runaway

Kanye himself said Real Friends is the best song on Pablo (based on what he likes).

Its my favorite Ye song. It's very prophetic and I remember people saying he can't rap anymore after hearing all the lyrics from TLOP, then literally a week later he premiered this song in a club.

"I just feel like I'm the only one not pretendin'
I'm not out of control, I'm just not in they control"

"Skate on the paradigm and shift it when I feel like"

I could name 30 better Ye songs

It was an amazing outro to TLOP, but Kanye for some reason liked a tweet last year saying he should have dropped it as a single, which was weird.

  • Nov 1, 2019

He also WROTE his verses himself for this and it shows in the way he talks about the record. It’s top 10 easily

Wow, you named 42 songs, 42, and literally none of them are better then Saint Pablo. That's impressive. I'm sure i'm not even in the minority here; literally no one would ever unironically argue that Wolves or Bad news is better then Saint Pablo. You're either trolling, a boomer, or you desperately need help.
