The highs of mandy (rx-64, sparky, rapid fire, raining outside, murvlana, freaky, turn down mami, settle down) aren’t quite reached on this but it looks like he was going for a more expansive and experimental sound

A lot of beautiful production and interesting ideas, I’ll be revisiting this for a while i can tell.

Will update later with my personal highlights
There’s like 5 tracks im vibing with heavy, tapenga, war in the trenches, beautiful nothing, sucre, sakurachan

One thing is that a lot of people are a fan of him cus of his take of afrobeats, his style is blended but still very much based on Nigerian urban music so the deviations on this new record are a little jarring

Reflexively my favorite tracks are the ones that keep the afropop sound palettes. Sucre for example is a 10/10 track

Completely agree.. but, it’s also nice to have a new sound to get into

I might end up liking this album better than his last one

This album reminds me a lot of TLOP4. Takes some time to catch on but once it does the production, transitions, and melodies become very infectious and the replay value becomes extremely strong

Exactly what I was thinking but I was associating it more with TLOP5 than TLOP4

This is dope, just streamed it on loop while cleaning the house. When KTT actually puts you on to dope artists
Though, I guess I was familiar since he was on Amaarae album, but never checked his solo s***.

Does anyone also happen to have the album as files, so I can put it on my usb?
