Which arc is better?

I got sasuke retrieval easily

I like chunnin exam more

Chunin Exams

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh chunin exam but largely due to the fact that i managed to watch it earlier and quicker compared to retrieval which i watched much later on

sasuke retrieval had some fire

chunnin classic
naruto wud b s tier w.o alla filler

Chunin exam arc was peak besides that dumb ass test

Personal favorite I think Sasuke Retrieval but storytelling wise Chunin Exams

I think the buildup by the Sasuke Retrieval made the payoff worth it but the actual structure itself was slightly predictable with the whole “1 person stays behind to hold them off” building to the fight between Sasuke and Naruto

Chunin exam had a more interesting story, with the exams going on, on top of sound x sand planning to attack konoha + all the side character developments / anatagonist developments + world building Kishimoto was doing all at once

Honestly Sasuke retrievel

couldnt pick honestly theyre both the best arcs in the entire series

f*** naruto though

Chunin exam >>>

I miss part 1 naruto. Shippuden had a lot of classic moments and the pain arc is probably the best arc of the whole series. But part 1 where they really embraced the ninja and Japanese myth backdrop of the series just felt right

If only those kids really died at sasuke retrieval like Kishimoto intended to
